Oppo debuted the Reno 8 smartphone series in China earlier this week. This set includes three devices: the Reno 8, the Reno 8 Pro, and the Reno 8 Pro Plus. All of these smartphones are powered by various chipsets and have varying specifications.
Oppo Reno 8 Specifications
The Reno 8 is equipped with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 CPU and has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has an under-display fingerprint sensor as well as a face unlock.
When it comes to its camera, it includes a 50MP primary camera with a 2MP black and white sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. A 32MP front camera, a 4,500mAH battery, and 80W super flash charging are available for selfies. The Reno 8 ships with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12. The Oppo Reno 8 Pro is a bit larger, with a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU, the most recent Snapdragon 700-series chip in the market, as well as up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The Reno 8 Pro includes an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP main camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front is a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, which is also used in phones such as the OnePlus 10R and Realme GT Neo 3. This smartphone offers up to 256GB RAM and 12GB RAM.
It has the same camera configuration as the Oppo Reno 8 Pro, with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, but it also has a Mariana MariSilicon X chip for improved camera performance. It also sports a 32MP selfie camera.
Other features include an 80W Super Flash Charge compatibility, a 4,500mAh battery, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ costs CNY 3,699 (about Rs. 43,000) and runs Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1.
