You can check your bank passbook to get IFSC code of your bank. Though there are many websites and apps that let you check IFSC code of any bank branch, but they are not as accurate as your passbook provided by your bank.
Alternatively, you can use the Google Pay app to find the IFSC Code of your bank branch. Its IFSC search facility available while making bank transfers can be used to find the IFSC code of the bank.
How to find IFSC code in Google Pay
You can find IFSC code of your bank in Google Pay by using IFSC search option in Bank transfer section.
Follow these steps to find IFSC code of a bank in Google Pay:
Step 1: Open the Google Pay app and tap on ‘New Payment‘.
Step 2: Now select ‘Bank Transfer‘.
Step 3: Now you’ll be asked to enter the bank details, just leave everything and tap on ‘Search for IFSC‘.
Step 4: After that find your bank in the list or search in the bar.
Step 5: Once you enter your bank name and branch address, it will show you the IFSC code of your bank branch.
Note: It may take longer to find your bank or branch in the list, so always try to search for it by manually typing the name and address of the bank.
