The Asus ROG Moba 5 Series Gaming Laptop is launched in China with the latest AMD Ryzen processor and Nvidia graphics. The series also includes the Moba 5 and Moba 5 Plus, with the main difference between the two laptops being the display size alone.
Asus ROG Moba 5 Series has a 15.6-inch display, while Asus ROG Moba 5 Plus has a 17.3-inch display. This laptop model has an almost bezel-less display on the chassis and comes with RGB lighting.
Asus ROG Moba 5 Series Price
The Asus ROG Moba 5 laptop is priced at CNY 12,999 (approximately Rs. 1,46 lakh), and the laptop is available in a single configuration only. The ROG Moba 5 Plus laptop is priced at CNY 14,999 (approximately Rs. 1,69 lakh), and this laptop also comes in a single configuration as well.
This Asus Laptop China Store and JD.com both Gaming Laptop model will start getting from January 26. As of now, Asus has not yet shared any information on international availability for the Moba 5 Series.
Asus ROG Moba 5 Series specifications and features
Talking about the display in ROG Moba 5 laptop, there is a 15.6-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) IPS display, which has a 16: 9 aspect ratio and 300Hz refresh rate. The ROG Moba 5 Plus laptop has a 16: 9 aspect ratio and 300Hz refresh rate as well as a 17.3-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) IPS display.
Both these models claim 100 percent sRGB coverage with a 3ms response time. It is powered by an 8GB DDR GDDR6 VRAM as well as an octa-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU.
Asus ROG Moba 5 16GB laptop RAM and 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage is given, while ROG Moba 5 Plus laptop has 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Both these laptop models come with Dolby Atmos support and stereo speakers.
Talking about connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Type-C port with PD charging support, a headphone jack, HDMI 2.0B port for connectivity.
And Gigabit Ethernet ports are also included. Asus ROG Moba 5 Series will come with a 90Wh battery and USB Type-C charging support. The ROG Moba 5 laptop weighs 2.3kg, while the ROG Moba 5 Plus laptop weighs 3kg.
Asus uses Glacier Cooling 2.0 technology, which uses two fans and six heat pipes to keep laptop models cool at load time. This can be a good laptop for you. If you are thinking that this is not a good gaming laptop, then you are thinking wrong.
